Nijmegen Marches - Click Here |
||
| Flight Sergeant Richard Latham and Corporal Mike Popay are currently training with the rest of Norfolk and Suffolk Wing to gain a place on the RAF WARMA 50-mile 2 day march and the Nijmegen 100-mile 4 day march in Holland.
This will be Flt Sgt Latham’s 2nd time participating in the Nijmegen marches; Flt Sgt Latham said “The atmosphere within City of Nijmegen and the surrounding towns was just immense and the summer carnival just added to it all.” The Nijmegen training and the Nijmegen marches are a huge physical achievement for cadets, this year Flt Sgt Latham will have to carry a dead wait of at least 10Kg plus water for the entire route of the marches and will be disqualified if under. |
