Wing Cross Country Five cadets represented the squadron at the recent Norfolk and Suffolk Wing Cross Country Races held at RAF Honington in Suffolk. Cadets Brooke Green, Sophie Frapwell, Matthew Robinson, Michael Popay and Liam Upton all gave a great effort on the day. Cadet Liam Upton - competing in his first ever Air Cadet sport competition, was successful winning bronze in the Junior Boys category. |

Sgt Walton Secures Central and East Region Victory and another Wing Blue On 1st December the ATC Inter-Regional Rugby championships were held at RAF Cosford, Wolverhampton. 222 Squadron’s Cadet Sergeant Andy Walton helped take Central & East Region to victory, playing as hooker he drove home a try and assisted in many plays resulting in the region being undefeated. The scores stacked up;
Andy will now go on to represent the Air Training Corps in 2008. |
